I want to replace AO smith water purifier filter and I have come across https://www.roservicescentre.com/
I have called them and they said they are authorised AO smith service providers and offered me 20% discount on the service charges.
As per the request they came to my home and while replacing filter they said few switching are damaged and want me to replace them, which cost me around 5500 (Including filter replacement). And they suggested me to take AO smith AMC which is 6850. And they said every repair will be covered and they replace filters every 3 months for free. I called the service provider relationship manager and they confirmed that I can go for AMC to save more money. And they asked to to give the money to them as billing servers are down and they promised that they will share AMC bill next day. I agreed to them as I have no other option and I have taken their number (+91 9052712393).
As I did not received the AMC bill next day, I tried calling them (almost 50 times). But no one lifted the call. I tried calling for different number then manager picked the call and told their service center is closed so they did not picked call and he promised he will share the bill in other 15 mins.
But no one responding after that. Then I understood they are hitech cheaters, maintaining attractive website and fake offers to trap customers.
Though the money I lost is not huge, I wish they need to be punished.
And I want to alert everyone to be aware of such online frauds.
