Fraudsters are using Housing.com site to dupe customers by posting Fake pictures of PG apartments in Mumbai. They are posting pictures of PGs which DO NOT EXIST IN REALITY and will ask you money to arrange for a visit to the PG. Once they get the amount they will extract more money from you by giving you assurance that all the money will be refunded if the PG is not taken by you. They will even ask you for Adhaar ID or PAN from you to make it look authentic. They are operating under various names such as NITIN PG, SANDEEP PG, PRASHANT PG These PGs are listed mainly to trap students and bachelors. Housing.com has no system in place to verify who is posting what and they take no ownership if the customers are defrauded using their website/ portal by simply making a disclaimer. I recommend that such sites are either made responsible for what they are posting on their portal or be banned from the system completely till such time they take responsibility for what is posted on their portal.
