I received a mail from www.vivaahsangam.in (Email- [email protected]) regarding alliances that have medical condition on 16^th Nov 2020. That mail has few attached profiles of girls with all details and pictures. On next day (17^th Nov 2020), I received a reminder email again claiming that they are in touch with NGO’s and get details of person from them. Firstly, it’s illegal to provide private details of any person to third party without getting permission from the respective person. The profiles which they have sent it was mentioned that they all were from our caste only. So somehow, we blindly believed it because such medical condition can’t be disclosed easily with anyone. Therefore it gets difficult for us to find the alliances. Later, I called to the person who sent me that email (contact number was provided in an email and also on their website). They explained me their procedure and confirmed that all the profiles are genuine and has been crosschecked with id and police verification . And also sent me a word file with their norms and conditions where it’s clearly mentioned that the plan which I opted for is refundable plan. As we were quite satisfied with the profiles they sent, we opted for offline procedure as we didn’t wish to get our profile online. So for the whole procedure, they charged me Rs.11,000/- for the same and assured me to provide details of alliances of my caste only.  I paid the amount from using mobile app of Bank of Baroda. After I made the payment I received a call from Ms. Mamta and also an email ([email protected]) to confirm that they have received my payment and will get back to me on Wednesday. Ms Mamta was assigned as my Relationship manager or Case manager.
Next day i.e. Wednesday (18^th Nov 2020), I dropped message to Ms. Mamta (Relationship Manager) that if my number is not reachable, you can drop a text on Whatsapp and I will call back. She saw my message and didn’t respond. Then I called Ms. Rani Pandey to tell her that I didn’t get any call yet. So she told me that it takes 24 hours to activate the profile. MISTAKE- If you’re doing offline procedure why it takes 24 hours for the activation. In the mean time, I didn’t receive any call or reply from my Relationship manager Ms. Mamta.
And today morning (19^th Nov 2020), I received a message from Ms. Mamta ([email protected]) with contact details of some alliances. And to my surprise, none of them were from my caste. And she asked me to check my mail for the detailed profile of those candidates. I asked her to call but she just ignored my message, then I called to her, but she didn’t answer. Then I called her from some other number and she answered the call. By this time I knew it’s all fishy. And she conveyed that she had no discussion with Ms. Rani Pandey regarding my case and she sent those profiles randomly. If she has been assigned my Relationship manager, she must be thorough with my requirement. She was also very rude while talking to me. Then I called Ms. Rani Pandey, and explained her whole situation, she told me that she is also not aware about it. I warned her to take legal action if they don’t refund my money immediately. She shouted on me and hung up. I messaged her on whatsapp and no response. I asked her if she is going to respond, she said no. Later, I checked that mail again and realized that the profile that was sent to me was all copied from other website (www.getmemarry.com). Because I already have a profile there and the pattern of those profiles were similar. According to me they have committed multiple mistakes or crimes. They are not supposed to give other person’s contact details and address without their permission. I also doubt that the mail which was sent on 17^th November 2020 with pictures and details were also fake.

I feel total helpless and devastated. As I am already suffering from so much family and social pressure. And then things like this happened…it breaks us totally and harassed mentally. I had to take sleeping pills on Wednesday because I realized that I did a mistake trusting them and couldn’t sleep. These people are just taking advantage of helpless people like us. I condemned it. Please help me and it should be a lesson to them. I have voice call recording of Thursday (19^th November 2020).
