I applied for data entry jobs in 5th of April in Quickr. I got a call from a boy named Raj, he told me he was calling from Pentagon Networks and he told me it was a work from home job and I can do it from any part of India if I have a laptop or a PC.
He gave me the details about the work that they will provide 590 forms and I have to complete filling them in 6 days. I agreed. They send me a demo document and also told me that they will pay Rs 38/- per form at the end of the work. They also said that the registration fees that is Rs. 5178 has to be deducted from my first salary and so I agreed.
I could not complete the work in 6 days as I was tested Covid positive in the middle of the work period, I got hospitalized and I told them the same that I will not be able to submit it on time. They did not pay any heed to that. After 6 days the HR of the company, named Kunal Rana, called me and said that either I have to pay the registration fees or I have to buy the software that is Rs 15000, I requested them to consider my health conditions, but they did not. So I decided I would give the registration fees.
As soon as I paid the registration fees I got a call from an government advocate named Shailendra Thakur, he told me that I had to pay Rs 26,629 for the NOC declaration. I paid that. They he again called and asked for a penalty payment. I paid Rs. 12560 as penalty as they threatened of lodging a case against me and they also threatened that a arrest warrant will be issued against me.
After all these payments, another person who claimed to be case registrar called me, named Gaurav Sharma, and asked me to pay Rs. 36,990. I disagreed to pay anymore money that’s why he started misbehaving with me.
I’m hospitalised right now, and these people have been harassing me since morning. I have already paid Rs. 39,560. I am a student and I have drained all my savings in this fraud. Please look into this matter as soon as possible. I’m attaching all the transactions screenshots here. Thank you
