Got a call early morning stating that i have selected as a lucky winner for lucky draw contest which was going on when i placed a order for a mobile phone. Name of the caller
(Prashant) informed me about this and told to to choose between 1 Tata safari or 12,60,000. After checking online i found that they have a site named by http://flipkartonlineluckydraw.com from that i got 1 Whatsapp number which stated that if you get any calls claiming that you have won a lucky draw or something Whatsapp or call on this number for confirmation. from there i got confirmation that i am in the list ( Later i got to know that even site is fake only in the name of flipkart but someone is doing fraud). I told to give the prize money and not the car. he asked me to pay rs 6500 as a registration fee after which i’ll get the prize money. i thought for sometime then i paid the amount 6500. after that i got a msg from flipkart stating that RTGS has been done to your account but you have to pay Rs 32600 as a service charge to the bank for transferring a big amount. to which i denied and got to know that the msg with RTGS transaction was also fake. and now when i asking for refund. they are like you have to link your account with our Company’s number. then only when can refund your amount and there is no other option. Now i have no other option to recover my money so i am placing this complaint and hoping help from your side. and even my intention is to help other by sharing this story so they does not get conned as i got.
