Text of Complaint by Pravin Kumar Chawdhry:

Dear Sir,
I am a resident of Bhopal. I deposited (online payment) Rs 2500 towards a new connection charges of JioFiber at my residence, on 04 Aug 2012 (Receipt attached). Sales Rep, Mr Mukesh came for this job to my residence. This was preceded by telephonic discussion/ talk with Sales Manager Mr Anand on 3 Aug 2021.
On 4th Aug, I got SMS message (several, in fact) about time schedule for the said installation the same evening. However, the installation team that came [two persons: one, Shri Ashish (if I remember the name correctly), the other Shri Rajkumar] couldn’t do it till late in the evening, presumably due to some ‘technical issue’, which they didn’t explain to me. They also said that they had reported about the snag to their superior office and that the work would be done the next day (tomorrow).
On 5 Aug, however, nothing happened; nor came any message to me.
On 6th, I got another sms that installation would be completed by 05:45pm. Another team of two persons (don’t have their names!) came with equipment, but couldn’t even initiate anything as the snag found by the previous team had not been rectified. They returned after making some phone calls with, I don’t know who/ whom/ where! However, before leaving they told me that a new ‘cassette’ would be fixed by a different team at the pole outside and installation would be done after that – ‘hopefully tomorrow’.
On 7th Aug, nothing happened, no phone call or sms came to me from the company. After repeated attempts in the morning, however, I could talk with Mr Anand, the Sales Manager, who promised that installation would be done by evening, but to no effect. He didn’t even bother to inform me that the work was not possible that day.
On Sunday, 8th Aug, till noon, I again tried several times before Mr Anand answered my call – only to give me ‘false assurance’ that he would get back, which he never did. As a last attempt, at around 3:00 pm, I contacted Mr Mukesh (the exec who had booked my order). He took some time to find out the progress of work, and called later to tell that installation of additional ‘cassette’ would take two days, after which connection would be through immediately.
So, on 9th Aug, I didn’t enquire from anybody, nor did I get any message for the company regarding the JioFiber connection at my house.
Till today, i.e. 10 Aug 2021 evening, the Reliance Company has failed to go on the promise that its executives had made. I haven’t receive any information of any sort from them so far. After taking seven attempts early afternoon today (four times out of these, his mobile rang full time; thrice it was busy!), Shri Anand answered – only to say that he would get back in ten minutes after taking stock of the situation. He didn’t call back, as usual; and when I tried after an hour, his mobile was continuously busy.
Of course, Mr Mukesh called at around 5:00 pm to tell me that the said ‘cassette’ would be fixed tomorrow (11 Aug – another deadline fixed for the ordinary and very regular job for a company of the stature of Reliance) and installation will be done soon after.
Well, that appears to be yet another false promise, as I have yet to receive a regret communication (for the delay, or new date of installation, or inconvenience, etc) from the company, which generally does come from any responsible company or service provider. I need to mention here that during the first two or three days of my booking the order, I was getting so many sms messages from the company (regarding contact person, Happy Code for installation, delay, etc), but almost none after 6 Aug.
So, I am skeptical about the sincerity or intentions of Reliance Company executives in field; and seek full, complete and immediate redressal of my complaint.

Its been 5 days since i booked my jio fibre installation charges… and still they are not able to start my connection… everyone is fraud here … they take the money before installation and when we ask for refund they jiat give us some person number and thts it after that when u call them everyone is busy . So basically they don’t care about their customers.
