I have replaced by Airtel SIM card few days ago, that too twice. Still call and SMS services are not activated. Whenever I call, it says I have outstanding bill to pay on a PREPAID SIM. I am sure they’re out of their mind and their systems are shit. Even the SMS service is not working which is very critical for me. I have been following up on this incident from last 5-6 days but there is no resolution whatsoever. This is pathetic and ridiculous customer service from Airtel.
I had even visited 3 Airtel stores, reached out to twitter handle, and also sent an email to the NODAL officer but there is no use. Still the problem persists, and most importantly there is NO VALID REASON for not enabling call and SMS service even after 24hrs. I had already paid for services costing me around 5000/- which I was not able to use from last 6 months and also because of this pathetic customer service, I won’t be able to make use of them. They’re looting customers without providing the services. I need the refund and compensation for my time and agony due to this shitty service. Even I had to pay 150/-, 4-5 times when I was trying to replace the SIM card.
