For the last few years, we’ve been facing issues with our refrigerator (brand – Godrej), and every time Gogrej’s technician says they have fixed the problem but they don’t, the same problem keeps coming back after a few months. Not only their technicians are incompetent but also rude, arrogant, and highly unprofessional.

In August 2019, our refrigerator had some issues where their technician named Pradeep Solanki told us that the PCB has died and It needs to be replaced. Since it was out of warranty we had to pay for the part that needed to be replaced. At that time technician also told us that we need to put a voltage stabilizer, even though our model is advertised as Stabilizer Free, we still end up buying one based on Godrej’s technician’s recommendation. After that incident, Godrej offered us to buy AMC and we end up doing so (which is valid till 18.08.2026). But little did we know that it was a trap after that same problem happened sometime in 2020. The technician visit us and said it was the same issue, the same PCB needs to be replaced, we asked him ” you guys did the same thing last year too”. They just don’t have any answer to our queries, they straight up say rudely “we just do our job if the company gives us faulty parts to replace it’s not our fault.” The same problem occurred twice in the next year 2021. They don’t even inspect properly, just look at the refrigerator and tell us it’s the PCB problem and replaced the PCB every single time but our refrigerator still doesn’t work properly. The same problem came back this year too, in June 2022 and today. We filed a complaint in the morning around 10 AM, but no technician came to visit us, since the refrigerator wasn’t working our food got spoiled. I had to contact Godrej customer care multiple times and they had no response other than that you need to wait until someone will visit you. Finally, a technician named Rajesh came to my house at 5 PM, barely even spending a minute with the refrigerator, saying PCB needs to be replaced and the worst part was it can’t replace on the same day. This company by far has the weirdest policy that technicians can only visit you after 2 PM, which means I’ve to cancel all my evening errands just to get my product fixed.

At this point, we’re so done with this company. Someone needs to take serious action against Godrej for misleading, doing scams, wasting time and money, and giving unnecessary problems to the customer.
