My Facebook Account (Veeksha Vagmita) was permanently disabled on 13 May, 2025, without any specific reason or detail being given. It is patently unfair to permanently expel someone from Facebook in a manner that glaringly lacks transparency. Issues of account integrity were raised without explaining what prompted that accusation. I challenge that accusation. I am a person with great integrity and my account had no integrity issues.
FB claimed to have observed unusual activity in my account but did not give me any concrete information at all about that unusual activity. Prima facie, there is something suspicious and arbitrary about their deafening silence on the precise reason for all the accusations they levelled. Also, they restricted my ad features for “security reasons”, a very serious charge that they didn’t care to substantiate. I’m a decent, dignified and discreet user of social media. FB cannot make such allegations against someone without giving a proper reason. I refute this allegation. They also said a violated their community standards, a claim a strongly contest. They gave no indication whatsoever regarding which post or what content violated your community standards, nor did you any flag any issue prior to suspending the account. They dismissed my appeal for review by repeating the vague and unexplained charge of your community standards being violated. They cannot come up with charge after charge without providing any evidence whatsoever to back up your claims. This is simply unacceptable. They didn’t provide any justification for the actions they took. I did nothing to invite any of those charges. Their action is totally unjustified and arbitrary, which is made crystal clear by your utter failure to provide a single specific detail for any of the charges they made against me.
I take exception to the false and unsubstantiated charges made against me as well as seek an apology for the harassment this has caused me by hurting my dignity. Any justification they offer now will be rightfully construed as an afterthought and will be devoid of any credibility because if there was a legitimate reason for their actions, they would have stated it clearly without all this obfuscation.
My account should be reinstated. I did nothing to deserve this penalty and FB could offer no reason to justify it.
