I reside in a village called Umpanai, in the district of West Karbi Anglong, Assam with pin code 782410. While Airtel data speed in the rest of the district is manageable, the tower from which we use the network provided extremely low speed. Note that Airtel is the only network provider in the whole developmental Block.
It has been already weeks that I had complained about the data quality the company provided in our area but to no avail that was resolved. The maximum data speed is less than 150kbps in the midnight while during day, the maximun caps to 40kbps. This is nowhere the speed of 4G advertised by the company. We can even call it a 2G speed. This is a direct jolt to PM’s digital India vision. Not just that, it harmed our studies during this pandemic.
My request is that Airtel fixes this issue and strengthen the network and data quality in the area mentioned.
