I just got a increased bill of last month where I have been charged an unacceptable amount of 61 Rupees for the calls made to my Air India on their number 1860 which I can’t understand. I had to call the Airlines, because of a cancellation of the Flight. Airtel charged me 2.5 Rupee per pulse for the calls. These helpline numbers are mostly toll free. How will we as consumers resolve our issues or survive, if things are like this in our country where we are stripped and looted by the service providers? Very horrible experience indeed to live and survive in the country, where every service provider likes to take a bite out of our pockets. Already the Airtel’s network is not good in my area, so I have to use WiFi calling option to make calls and now this! This ridiculous bill. TRAI, are you alive?! Monopoly is increasing in telecom sector due to privatisation of public sector units. Now, its Time to port.
