I used to pay 1835rs per month as maintenance for my home at Amrapali silicon city. This was already over-charged because of the bare amenities i was provided with, which didn’t include power backup to our flats during power cuts, improper schedule of guards in society, extremely uncooperative staff.
Recently, without any prior information to most residents, new people were elected in the RWA, after which within 2 days the maintenance charges were increased by 1.65rs per square feet.
When we, the residents asked about why the charges were increased, all they told us was,” because it hadn’t increased from a long time.”
There’s been no improvement in any amenities being provided, yet we are being forced to pay extra now. My maintenance is now 3000rs approximately.
The gym and the swimming pool of the society are only available on giving extra charges. So what are we paying for? They’re extorting money and filling their pockets.
This is the situation being faced by residents of Amrapali Silicon city, Sector 76, Noida, UP.
