- I would like to make a concept of the situation in which I am placed for. I am residing in Magna Apartment, Fitwala road, Prabhadevi, Mumbai (w) 400013. I have been paying the electricity bill online, regularly. Since the lockdown started no one from the electricity department make visits to check the meter reading. However the bill was paid online on the amount shown. My bill amount has already been on the higher side since many months, for which i was planning to go for the complaint but the lockdown started. Last month i paid Rs. 3760/- which itself was on the higher side, as i have (in use) 2 ceiling fans, a small refrigerator and LED lights in a 1-bhk apartment. This month the bill has come to Rs. 9710/- which is unbelievable, to pay, for such less consumption of electricity. As a matter of fact, in the same building other residents have been paying lesser amounts even though they use heavy appliances such as air conditioners, etc.
Please look into the matter sympathetically as I am a retired government officer and unable to pay such heavy amounts.
