I am a resident of nalasopara West and I am writing this complaint in order to draw your attention in regards to huge amount of bill that I have received for the month of June. It’s only a month’s bill, previous to that I already paid may and April month’s bill respectively. The reading that is printed on the bill and the one that I recorded on my phone is almost same but my bill for a month is way too high. When I went to complaint about such a rise in my bill the only thing they said is “due to covid-19 situation they were unable to take meter reading and due to summer the bill is high”.
But I try to make them understand that with almost the same reading i am getting a bill of approximately 700-900 every month since a year. So how is it possible to receive 3000 bill in a month. Even if u add some amount from the previous month still it should be 1500 maximum not more than that. But o didn’t receive any help. They told me whatever it is I have to pay it. In such situation where I don’t have a job how can I pay such an amount. I am writing this complaint to seak immediate response and help.
