I am just keeping this No. as I don’t want to cancel it. I have never received any bill to be paid nearly for the past two years as I have already deposited Rs.1000/- in my Account.
To my utter disbelief, I received a bill of Rs.1115/- for the month of April-May 2020. When I contacted the Customer Care, I was informed that as I had made a call to some Special No. for 64 minutes on 26.04.2020, I was charged with “Value Added Service” of Rs.896/-.
Here I would like to mention I use this No. only occasionally just to keep the number active. This can be verified if my account is checked for the past two years.
I am also using some old model phone (Nokia) which gets locked automatically within seconds. Hence, there is no possibility of making outgoing calls accidentally too.
The Dialled numbers shows me that the particular call was made on 25.04.2020 at 04.00 a.m. At that time I did not even wake up from my bed.
Hence, some mistake has happened and I unnecessarily paid Rs.896/- for a service which I have not used.
