Hello,
I have recently ported my Vodafone number (9820175601) to Airtel. As per the communication with Airtel, the team has asked me to insert my newly issued SIM card once the Vodafone network disappears (No network in mobile) & also received SMS from them. On 27th Dec 19, when the Vodafone network disappears from my phone, I have immediately insert new Airtel SIM card in my phone however it was not showing any network signal at all.
Later on 28th Dec 19, I went to Airtel Gallery in Badlpaur West. I have explained them whole issue however in response the team has communicated to me that the issued SIM is from Mumbai Circle hence they are not in a position to provide resolution on this & advise me to visit Mumbai Circle Airtel Gallery. Since there was no alternative number available with me, I have purchased another SIM from Airtel Gallery (Pre-paid number 9970449453) & then on the very next day (29th Dec 19), I went to Mumbai Circle Gallery (Andheri West) as there was no option available with me.
I have explained the same thing to Andheri Airtel team & in response they have communicated to me that they will be sending email to processing center for re-fixing tele-verification call on the alternate number & issuance of new SIM card post.
Till 1st Jan 20, I was waiting for the call from Airtel customer care however nothing has happened thereafter. Then I have emailed my issue to airtel customer care & later to the Mumbai nodal office however no resolution till date.
It been more than 15 days my existing number (9820175601) has temporary dead & no one from Airtel Team care to revert back to me with the proper solution.
Kindly let me know how to do I resolve this issue & who can compensate me for the losses & additional expenses which has incurred owing to this mismanagement.
