Excitel broadband is not refunding the security of Rs. 2000.

Text of Complaint by Sachin Kumar Sharma:

In May 2022, I subscribed to Excitel internet services, opting for a one-year payment plan and paying a security deposit of Rs. 2000 for the router. Unfortunately, the quality of the services provided was extremely poor. As a result, I decided to cancel my subscription after one year. I initiated the service termination process, and on May 31, 2023, a representative from Excitel came to my residence to collect the router. During this visit, I was informed that the security deposit refund would be processed within 60 days of the router’s return.

After waiting for the specified 60-day period, I contacted Excitel’s customer care department multiple times in an attempt to inquire about the status of my refund. However, despite my efforts, I was unable to find a satisfactory resolution. I was frequently placed on hold for extended periods, sometimes lasting up to two hours, and no progress was made in resolving the issue. Their representatives suggested that I send an email outlining my concerns, which I promptly did, but unfortunately, this also yielded no results.

I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter and obtaining the refund owed to me by Excitel. I am eager to receive the refund as promised.
