Dear Sir  / Madam,
This has reference to above Airtel Account, Myself and my Wife Gayathri A have complained to Customer Care on various occasions for having paid excess amount and request for refund of excess amount of Rs.590 has gone to deaf ears.

We have complained as many as 7 to 8 times and have been wasting our time complaining and promises to rectify the same, but nothing has happened yet till now.

I wish to inform you that, my Airtel Post Paid + DTH payment against Bill No.10101010180330 dtd.12/06/2020 (11th May 2020 to 10th July 2020) for an amount of Rs.1274.42.

I had made payment through Paytm account wherein the outstanding was showing as Rs.676.14 for Postpaid Joint A/c and Rs.598.61 for DTH.  The account was still showing pending even after payment and kept paying the due amount.

I had paid both the payment through Paytm account and the details are given below;

DTH Payment Made :

25/6/2020 – Rs.599.00

26/6/2020 – Rs.317.00

26/6/2020 – Rs.149.00

26/6/2020 – Rs.132.00

Total          – Rs.1197.00

Post Paid Payment Made :
25/6/2020 – Rs.358.00

26/6/2020 – Rs.168.00

02/7/2020 – Rs.149.00

Total            Rs.675.00

Both the above total amounts to Rs.1,872.00.
If you less the payment of Rs.1275/- which is the bill amount for June 2020, Airtel has to refund excess amount paid of Rs.597.00.

Airtel has been dodging to refund this amount of Rs.597.00 and making our life miserable.  We have complained to Customer Care many times without any result.  Hence, we are approaching the Airtel Ombudsman to resolve our issue.

Even after the above justification doesn’t let you refund, we may have to go to TRAI and complain against Airtel for cheating the public money by giving wrong accounts.  Also I may go to Consumer Redressal Forum to take this case very strongly.  I am a retired person and you people are taking us for a ride.
