I had a 16Mbps plan from Jun 2019 to May 2020. Annual plan paid in full. ( Per month rental ~ Rs 499.) I upgraded to 100 Mbps plan end of Jan 2020. This new plan is valid upto Jan 2021. ( Rs 799 per month).

At the time of taking the plan, I was told that the remaining money of my 16Mbps plan
(Rs 1842.00) will be adjusted with my current plan hence I was asked to pay 1842 less for my current 100Mbps plan.

After about 6/7 months in August 2020 Airtel suddenly raises a change of 1842 as outstanding. Even after repeatedly calling the customer care and talking to their advisers & supervisors, the issue has not been rectified. I was assured that the amount will be adjusted but instead, they stopped my internet connections and Outgoing calls on my landline.

Again after repeatedly calling them, they are now asking me to make the payments as their system does not have any provisions to reverse or adjust the outstanding even though they admitted on phone that is was an issue on their end.

Now I had to pay the outstanding balance and have been told it will be adjusted in the next months cycle which I doubt it will happen. Moreover, given the level of service and the total lack of empathy of the Customer Care professionals of Airtel, I plan to stop taking any service from them.

I made the payment to restore my connectivity given I am WFH and there are online classes of my kid and did not have another alternative at this time.

Please look into this. I am being called every day 2/3 times by the billing department to make the payment, but even after telling them that the Customer care advisers have been told about my issue and the amount has to be rectified, I am still getting about 2/3 calls everyday.

Their systems dont seem to talk to each other and the end the end customer is being harassed and forced to pay.

Please take action on these fraudsters immediately.
