am writing to raise a serious concern regarding the exorbitant late fees charges levied on my Paytm Postpaid account. My name is Shalja Mandhotra, and I have been a Paytm user for a considerable period of time. Recently, I availed myself of the Paytm Postpaid scheme, which provides a credit limit of ₹750 for daily expenses, with the requirement to settle the amount at the end of each month.
Due to unforeseen financial difficulties, I faced challenges in repaying the amount on time, leading to the addition of late fees charges to my principal amount. However, I received a call from a Paytm executive who discussed my outstanding dues and suggested a settlement. According to our conversation, I was advised to pay a settlement amount of ₹1,000 out of ₹2,000, with the assurance that the remaining amount would be waived off.
Based on this information provided by the Paytm executive, I agreed to pay the settlement amount of ₹1,000, which I promptly did. However, to my dismay, I noticed that Paytm Postpaid continued to charge me additional late fees, resulting in a total amount due of ₹4,872. This is completely unfair and unjustified, as I had only utilized ₹750 as credit, and I had already paid ₹1,000 as per the agreed settlement.
