Matter : Excess billing on account of auto-deactivation of Roaming/Change of package services used since last 8-9 months without consumer request.
Dispute Amount : Plus 14,000 INR
Avg billing : 5,500 appox
Today – Date :- 30-Dec,2019
Finally i got a call from Airtel that too on follow up of these mails and not on the basis of several call done to call center.
The response of person that system has changed and auto-deactivation is finished since Nov’19 so you have to pay for both packages on roaming charges, where as if you visit airport counter of airtel they stat, if once service is activated if automatically take up plan.
Question is :- 1.How 7-8 months regular pack can be automatically de-activated and you charge customer as per a default pack 2. When any promotion come we get 100 of call and they saying we informed you via a sms. This seems to be new way of Airtel making out of loss…simply not understandable how come regural services can be cut off via a simple msg and you charge customer
Means in future a customer every month has to call for all the service else they will put a customer on highest paid pack and send a bill be it local or roaming ? Purely ill-logical explanation of default system or it’s management intention and direction to make money.
Looking forward and escalating mail, with future porting to other network.

Even after follow up the bill generated on 27-Dec ,2019 for excess amount and no call received from senior team till now after 2-3 follow ups
This is in reference to discussion done dated 19/20 Dec,2019 at call center on receiving 5 msg on different date of daily pack charged within 7-19 Dec,2019
Have raised concern while i am using 3999 plan of International Roaming for China/Hong Kong from Feb,2019 on wards this daily pack comes into science ?
The matter was discussed was at call center and spokesperson informed that the 3999 pack got auto de-activated and he will be re-activating the same after checking records and track of last 9 months. further escalated request to senior to investigate the matter and should not be charged for double packs and service of 3999/- pack is re assured within 24 hours.
In addition i requested him to lower my credit limit from 25,000 to 10,000 in order to avoid any excess charge goof up, which is still not done.
Mail : -Date 27- Dec,2019 again after receiving the bill have raised the concern and expecting a solution for change of service without being request by consumer and charged excessively which is creating unnecessary hassle on account of system issue, hoping a quick and immediate solution for correction of package charges and taxes on it applicable.
I would not like to waste airtel team and my time of some fault and exaggerate the issue for long and calling to call center is a pain when calls are being dropped or disconnected.
Kindly remove 649 package and taxes of whatever period levied. I should not bear the 499 Local _ 649* No of days charged & 3999 Monthly pack for 1 billing cycle.
Also then reduce my credit limit to 10,000 as have read several mails online of International roaming shocks on various forums.
