Text of Complaint by Sameer Bhodia:

I ordered a ‘KRAT Foot messager…’ from Flipkart via Order ID’ OD428802410736736100 on 4th August 2023 & started the series of trauma & unlegitimate information.

I Google’d online for hours just to establish there is no brand named KRAT, who is manufacturing such massagars’ hence to seek clarification on the above, I spoke with Flipkart customer service representatives 2-3 times (5th Aug, 7th Aug & 8th Aug), explaining them to get clarity from the seller about the Brand name, however none of them can give assurity. In fact, I advised them to email the seller & get the brand name clarity, however they kept on promising on Flipkart Assurance & I relied on them, wasting my time, energy & money. (Flipkart’s Failure)

On 09th Aug, we recd the delivery, when we opened the package, we were absolutely taken back since our fear came true since there was no brand box – it was a local plain box with Flipkart invoice stickers.
The thermocol’s inside were just kept for the sake of giving original feeling which was not true since they have broken in peices.
There was no polythene wrapped on the product which normally saves the product from scratches.
The product has lots of scratches / signs of previous wear-n-tear.
The brand sticker was not original, it seemed to be computerized & then pasted for the sake of giving original feeler.
There was no User Manual.
The product has no heat function.
There was no remote.
There was no Warranty card.
The model was different i.e. LLM72, instead of LLM81
I’ve an entire unboxing video of 6-mins, that I can share if needed.

I immediately raised a Return Request, however it says product can be replaced & cannot be returned. I emailed them to take the product back & arrange for a refund since it was not just a mistake, it was intentional. There are no quality check points with this sellers & we pay them in advance for our orders. Flipkart should have avoided such vendors or should take measures to avoid such mishaps.

I’ve emailed the Grevience Team of Flipkart on 10th Aug, 12th Aug, 15th Aug, 17th Aug, 21st Aug & 24th Aug. In response to all of these emails, one of their team members will call, I explain him/her the entire scenario, then they assure they will look into the same & shall revert within max of 24 hrs, but till date the same person has never responded. Hence I’ve to again raise it, someone new will call & the cycle continues. None of the officers have taken any ownership to look into the issue untill it is resolves. They just seem to call for the sake of completing task with no intent to actually help customers. I’ve most of the calls recorded with me of the Flipkart customer services team, where they committed that refund will be made on a particular date, but nothing has happened. Till date, 29-08-2023, I’m yet to receive my refund. I had ordered this for my old parents since they have severe leg pain & I want to gift this to them on their Anniversary which was on 14th August 2023.

I seek your assistance in getting my refund & a compensation for intentional cheating to the customer by the Seller, as well by Flipkart for not assisting the client for all these days. Only fake promises but no action.
