Hello,

I am having a rather unique problem and need help. I had an airtel number (9937068224). While I was travelling by train, my things got stolen including all of my original certificates and mobile phone, in which I was using the mentioned SIM. Now, I am trying to apply for the same number but am facing a problem.

When I visited the store, the Officer told me that I have to bring my Original Identity proof to apply for the same. And as I have mentioned above I don’t have any. I have my Aadhar card copy, but to get an original Aadhar card, I need to have the SIM, as the same number is registered in my Aadhar Card.

I, can’t apply for an Aadhar Reprint, as I am no longer staying at the address mentioned there and also need to update my new Address and for that too, I need to have the same number.

If you could please kindly make an exception and treat this as a one-time situation and help me get my old number and activate it, I would be highly obliged and be indebted.
