Text of Complaint by Marcello Dabre:

careerrides.in called me saying that they got my resume from shine.com and told me that couple of international companies might be interested in my resume. They lured me by giving me good package either in Middle East or Singapore. As I have been sitting at home for quite a while, I showed interest in this offer. Here they told me that I will have to register on their site for me to start receiving the offers. Initially I was bit hesitant to pay for the registration, but careerrides.in told me that this is a one-time payment and that I don’t have to pay anything till I get the job.

As soon as I made the payment, I was then redirected to HR team where they gave me all the details of my new job. Here I had to fill an online form wherein I had to provide with all my details about my resume. All this happened on the same call. After I filled up the form, they asked me to pay another ₹10000 to get my documents verified. At this moment I felt something was not right and I denied to pay and they kept saying that I will have to pay this amount.

I got very upset and told them that they had misguided me by saying I don’t have to pay anything after I pay for the registration. I told them that they have to refund my money as I was cheated, and they said they cannot do that. So I told them that I will write a review online against them. After this they said that someone from the HR would call me to discuss this whole situation. After this they sent me a receipt of my payment but other than no communication at all.

I have been duped in the name of a job.

Please help me stop this fraud site so that needy people like me wouldn’t be duped.
