1. I registered myself with Shine.com a week ago to look for jobs online and paid premium services fee of 21000/- appx in order to have a better visibility of my job profile . For this company circulated my resume to hundreds of recruiters online .
2. Yesterday I received a call from a recruitment company called careerrides.in who asked me to register myself at a fee of 2999/- and pay a refundable fee of 10000/- appx . I made these payments and I was supposed to get a mail or call for uploading my documents for verification.
3. I got no response after the payment. So I went to they website and called the toll free number . The number does not exist .
4. I checked on the internet for information on career rides and found a similar complaint on your portal by Ms Priya Rao who too was duped by the same recruitment company and her Resume and contact information was also picked up from Shine.com .
4. Once I realised that I’ve been a victim of a scam , I have written to Shine.com , their CEO , their senior consultant, Ms Shobha Kashyap and their complaint cell apprising them of the matter and to take immediate action .
5. What I want to urgently bring forth to you via my complaint is that even though these cases of fake job offers are rampant and there are other victims who are also registered with Shine.com, no effort is made to apprise their clients about calls from fake recruitment companies . And considering I’ve paid a very high cost to Shine.com ( 21000/- appx) for their premium services , they must be held responsible for my money loss and be directed to pay back the same at the earliest.
