I ported my phone from Airtel to jio paying all outstanding amount of Airtel. I took a 1 year prepaid plan of Jio for Rs 2500. After 2 months I got a bill from Airtel saying there’s an outstanding of 99rs. I paid that and got a receipt. But my jio connection was disconnected in the process. I called the jio customer care and they assured that they will reactivate my number in 24 to 72 hrs. It’s been 10 days after that. I called jio customer care again and they conveniently said they can’t do anything from their end and asked me to go to jio store. Jio store said since the number is deactivated I’ll have to reactive the new card and my 1 year prepaid plan will be lost. So basically after paying all the dues Jio smartly duped me for 2500 Rs.
