ISD RATE CUTTER & RECHARGE ISSUES ON MOBILE No.9890064323 OF AIRTEL
ON 18th JULY I DID A RATE CUTTER RECHARGE OF RS. 24/- THROUGH THE AIRTEL APP. WHICH SHOWED THAT THIS RECHARGE IS A RATE CUTTER FOR INTERNATIONAL CALLING, BUT WHEN I CALLED ABROAD THE FULL TARRIF WAS CHARGED, THE SAME RECHARGE WAS ALSO DONE ON 1OTH JULY AND THE CALLING RATE WAS REDUCED.
WHEN I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE ON THE EVENING OF 18th JULY, I WAS INFORMED BY THE EXECUTIVE THAT AIRTEL HAS WITHDRAWN THIS PLAN THEREFORE THE RECHARGE IS NOT VALID, BUT I WAS REFUSED EVEN A REFUND OF THE AMOUNT, WHICH WAS DONE AS PER THE LIST IN AIRTELS OWN APP.
FURTHER TO RUB MORE SALT INTO MY WOUNDS, WHEN ASKED WHAT OPTIONS WERE THERE TO GET REDUCED CALLING RATES FOR ISD HE INFORMED ME TO RECHARGE WITH IR COUPON, WHEN I TOLD HIM I RESIDE IN INDIA HENCE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE SAME, HE INFORMED ME THAT WAS NOT THE CASE & I WOULD RECIEVE THE SAME BENEFITS EVEN IN INDIA & RECIEVE THE SAME NUMBER OF MINUTES FOR ISD CALLING, CONSEQUENTLY I RECHRGED WITH AN AMOUNT OR Rs.296 FROM THE AIRTEL APP WHICH SHOWED I WOULD BE GETTING 40MINUTES OF TALKTIME BUT ON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF RECHARGE WHEN I CALLED ISD I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE IS NO BALANCE IN MY A/C.
I AM USING THIS SAME NUMBER FOR ALMOST 15 YEARS, THIS IS AVERY SAD EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD, WHEN AIRTEL ADVERTISES ‘AIRTEL THANKS’ &GOES AHEAD AND DUPES INNOCENT PEOPLE WITH WRONG INFORMATION,
IT IS MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO YOU TO PLEASE REFUND THE ABOVE RECHARGES, AND KEEP YOUR APP. & CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVES UPDATED
