I had purchased a set top box from TATA SKY in 15 thJune 2020,the connection provider stated that it’s a try and buy offer so the first month is free of cost and the following months we have to pay according to the channels we select.on 22nd July I had also recharged Rs.500 to continue the service, suddenly on August 18th 2020 the connection was deactivated stating that insufficient recharged amount.i checked the account balance and it showed rs.183.38 .I tried to contact the customer care and explained the problem,they said they will activate it immediately and cut the call.but the connection was not activated.i again contacted the customer care and explain the entire problem but they again said that they will activate it and tried to cut the call, then i asked them to escalate this problems to higher officials,so they transferred the call to higher official and they checked and responded that the connection is “blacklisted “ and the reason for it is unknown.i asked them to file a complaint and they did so and gave me the complaint ID as 2AZMDD24 and stated that the expected closure date is 20th August 2020.But I did not receive any calls after that regarding the closure of the issue.so I called them again to know the status every now and then but no proper response from the customer care.again today I called September 7th 2020 and still they don’t have the reason for blacklisting my dth account.it has been nearly a month but no callback or action taken from the tata sky.i am totally frustrated and stressed out contacting the customer care and the lethargicness they show towards affected customer.in the lockdown time it’s highly necessary to get updated with government announcements and tv being the main source ,it’s of importance that the service providers understand the seriousness.i would like to raise a complaint on tata sky for their irresponsible attitude on addressing the customer’s complaint.
