On January 25, 2023, 13 members from Chennai Thousand Lights planned a trip to Valparai and Kanthaloor.
We reserved a tempo with Arsha Balaji Travels and paid a Rs. 1000 deposit. Around 5.30 p.m., the driver called to confirm all of the details. When we attempted to contact the driver on the scheduled date and time, around 8 p.m., he responded drunk and began abusing us. Despite attempting to contact the travel agency until midnight at 12 a.m., we received no response, and we cancelled the entire trip.
We didn’t even get the deposit amount.
