I had done a recharge of my prepaid mobile number on 10th October 2025 at about 3:19 PM. I got a message to say Recharge successful.
About 8 minutes later, I received a message from Jio to say the Recharge payment failed. Message clearly says that if you are charged for this payment, it will be refunded.
Based on this, I completed the recharge payment again at about 6:19 PM on 10th October 2025.
Upon checking my credit card account, I found that I was charged twice. Hence, I wrote an email to Jio Care requesting the refund of one of the two payments.
I received an email reply saying this amount can not be refunded.
There are no complaint numbers or an escalation mechanism. Even if you call on the complaint number, it is only sales information, and you can not speak to anyone.
Hence, I am compelled to write to you for the same.
In the attached file, I provided all references to the message received from Jio and snapshot of the credit card statement, which shows two payments.
Kindly help me receive the refund for one of the two payments of Rs. 3599.00.
