Today, I want to share a really upsetting incident that happened recently when my family booked a bus through Make My Trip with the bus agency called Intr City Smart Bus. I feel deeply disappointed as I recount the complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer care that we experienced from this service provider.
My mother and elderly aunt were eagerly waiting for their bus from Greater Noida to Lucknow, but unfortunately, they had to endure an hour-long wait. Finally, when the bus arrived, the driver heartlessly drove past them without stopping. They were told to contact the customer care hotline instead. To make matters worse, the bus passed right in front of them, almost mocking their presence. The bus owners can verify this incident using the PNR number: IC530957822967.
As soon as I learned about this unfortunate situation, I immediately called the customer care number in the hopes of resolving the issue. However, it took long six minutes to get connected to a representative. By the time I finally spoke to someone, the bus had moved far away from the place where my family was waiting. The response from the customer care executive was shockingly unfeeling. Instead of showing empathy and offering a solution, they suggested that my mother and aunt travel an additional 50-60 kilometers to the next stop. It is truly disheartening to think that they would expect two elderly ladies to endure more hardship and inconvenience.
When I asked if we could reschedule the bus for the next day to spare my family any more distress, the customer care representative coldly rejected my request. Their complete inflexibility and lack of concern for the well-being of the passengers left me deeply disheartened.
Incidents like these highlight the urgent need for bus companies to prioritize customer satisfaction and provide reliable, trustworthy services. This incident with Intr City Smart Bus has left a lasting negative impression on me, and I feel compelled to warn others against using their services. The utter lack of concern for customer well-being displayed by this company is a serious concern and raises doubts about their integrity.
I urge all of you to be cautious when considering traveling with Intr City Smart Bus. Their actions have caused significant inconvenience and disappointment to many travelers. It is crucial that we hold such companies accountable for their poor service. I hope that bus companies take note of these incidents as opportunities for self-reflection and improvement, focusing on professionalism and customer care to ensure a safe and satisfactory travel experience for all passengers.
