I received a whatsapp message from a number 9044284197 to rate and review restaurants. Next I was added to the Telegram group fake name Googlemap where tasks were distributed, some merchant tasks and some google maps review task etc.
Then asked me register on icbc4.club. They pay amount of Rs 50 and then they start pushing merchant task.
Next I paid 2000 as a new member fee followed by Rs 5000. I was told that to withdraw amount all the group members have to pay and asked to pay another Rs 75000. Next I received a threatening phone call from the number 9376813413 that my amount will be withheld if I don’t pay another Rs 1,50000
I lodged a cyber crime complaint immediately but no action has been taken so far.
Please do lodge cyber complaint and get these criminals arrested
