I am a Dish TV Customer bearing VSC No. 02511534976 and I am submitting this complaint as a final hope to avoid legal action and Consumer Complaint before the district consumer forum against DISH TV for deficiency in customer services, deficiency in administrative processes and unfair business and trade practice and for putting me and my family to hardship, inconvenience, loss, damage, agony, stress, trauma, Insult, Humiliation, injury and sufferance and the for breach of trust and cheating .

I venture to submit the complaint that was place for faulty and non-working of your Setup box within the warranty period and the same was swapped immediately by dish Tv partner agency Surya Enterprises with an acknowledgement receipt dated 19th July 2020 by a technician named Rajesh but the said setup box was also faulty (this raises serious doubts about the quality of your setup boxes and may be a way of Dish TV to generate additional revenue)and it stopped working within a week or 2 weeks and this is used by my aged parents and there were couple calls made by my daughter to report the same while I was travelling but DISH TV technical team stated that as the weather is not good and raining the customer service team stated to wait for couple days and as I was also travelling I could not place any complaint and placed a complaint after I returned on 1st Sep 2020 regarding faulty Setup box through my daughter.

The same agency Surya Enterprises has sent someone to check it and they stated initially that there was no setup box swapping as per my account details and the setup box has stopped working due to some problem and that the box is not properly installed and that there is some carbon in the cable slots and I asked them to replace it as it was handled by them and the same stopped working within a week or two but they stated that it is not true and upon showing a receipt they accepted the swap of the Setup box but declined to swap a setup box as it is out of warranty and asked me to pay around Rs.650/- I did not accept to do so and thought to deal with Dish TV customer support but I did not get any help from their as well.

If possible I request to listen to all phone conversation with the front line customer service representatives and even the supervisors to bring a closer to this issue. I want that this complaint be resolved by looking into the issue and get me a closer on the same by replacing the faulty refurbished swapped setup box that stopped working within a week or two and also to get my lost time of the package in short period to avoid me opting to legal course. I being an advocate if do not get this issue resolved with Dish TV, then I thing how difficult it is for common public to deal with Dish TV and may be the reasons there are thousands of complaints against them .

Hence request a quick action and resolution on the same.

I have written an Email to Write To CEO Dish Tv Form and also spoke with them but unfortunately below is the communication I received

As per our telephonic conversation, it has been informed that in order
to resolve your DishTV set-top-box related issue technician visit is
required but you have refuse to pay for the same.

Please note that we are ready to waive-off technician visit charge, but
hardware charges would be applicable.

Kindly note that Refurbished Set-Top-Box charge is Rs.413/- (Including
GST) + other hardware charges if applicable.

Moreover, kindly confirm once you required technician visit so that
needful can be done.

However, we have taken your valuable feedback and shared the same with
the concerned team, who will certainly evaluate it and take appropriate
action for making your experience with us seamless and delightful.

To whomesoever it may concern,

After taking to all of you it has come to my understanding that you do not want to take the responsibility of your faulty Setup boxes that are swapped as a replacement for your setup boxes under warranty. To avoid any further trouble to my parents, I ask you to replace the setup box that is faulty by collecting the necessary charges ASAP. But i reserve the right to claim and to file consumer complaint for my complaint that is not addressed and the same might be a larger issue and might also your modus operandi in generating additional revenue from customers. Being a Advocate I am put to such hardship, inconvenience, loss, damage, agony, stress, trauma, Insult, Humiliation, injury and sufferance, I can assume how much a general public/Customer is put to.

I bring to your kind attention that you can consider this as a notice for a class action consumer complaint from my side that is going to b e filed by me against your company for deficiency in customer services, deficiency in administrative processes and unfair business and trade practice.
