My network has been cut off and my calls from past few days.
When I observed this was done with a notice over a normal text message. Text message said as follows.
“As per Government directive, documents submitted for your Airtel Mobile 7********* are not valid. Please submit valid ID proof & address proof within 48hrs at the nearest Airtel Store to avoid service disconnection.”
AIRTEL has given me a notice, alleging of me not providing proper documents over a text and cut my Airtel services within 2 days. How practical is this?
With so many Airtel text messages these days, I didn’t see the text.
Issue doesn’t end there, with aitel’s so called high trained customer service, who by the way outrightly told me “call 12118, it’s not our issue” with a small debate that followed, I submitted all documents in colour print, to be a authentic customer, today(03/10/20) morning (CHANDRA LAYOUT, Bangalore centre).
I am in network blackout now, and worst part of it is, Airtel cut me off services, POST my documents submissions. Despite following Airtels directions, this is the scenario.
I have been in this address for years. I am sure my previous documents said the same address. I am also sure, Airtel can’t possibly have any explanation, if I ask them to show me my previously submitted documents, that they felt didn’t follow government directive.
I am deeply shocked. Network black out prevents not just connectivity but prevents me of all online transactions with all my banks linked to the number. It is like you have left me with no money for days, until services restore. (For which I’ll have to travel again to customer service center and fight for)
