Text of Complaint by Rishabh Tiwari:

Dear Consumer Court

I am writing to formally file a complaint against DigitTrade, a company that has scammed me and caused a significant financial loss. I was led to believe that DigitTrade was a legitimate investment platform, and I followed their instructions in good faith. Unfortunately, their actions have resulted in a loss of 3000 rupees and additional demands for unauthorized payments.

Here are the details of my experience with DigitTrade:

Initial Investment Success: I was first introduced to a series of “plans” offered by DigitTrade.
For Plan A, I invested 1000 rupees, and I received a profit of 1300 rupees as promised. At this stage, the company appeared genuine, as they delivered the returns on these initial investments.
Plan B, I Encouraged by the previous results, I proceeded to invest in Plan C, which required 3000 rupees. However, after completing this investment, DigitTrade demanded an additional 1500 rupees to “complete the system merchant order.” This demand was made without any prior agreement or confirmation from my end, and I was informed that the payment was “necessary.”
Unreasonable Demands and Lack of Transparency: Despite my efforts to communicate and understand the reasons behind this additional demand, DigitTrade has been unresponsive in addressing my concerns or clarifying the legitimacy of the requirement. I am now left with a loss of 3000 rupees and the company still pressuring me to pay an additional 1500 rupees, which feels both unjustified and unethical. I tried to withdrawal my 3900 to my saving account, but it’s still showing pending status. Even they made warranty agreement which clearly mentioned that they guarantee the profit.
I believe that DigitTrade is engaging in deceptive practices by luring people with small profits initially, only to demand increasingly larger sums without transparency or consent. I am deeply disappointed and feel that this is a deliberate attempt to exploit customers.

Request for Action:

I urge your office to investigate DigitTrade and its business practices.
I request assistance in recovering my 3000 rupees lost in this transaction.
I also request that measures be taken to prevent further scams and protect others from falling victim to DigitTrade’s tactics.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that swift action will be taken to address this complaint and protect consumers from similar fraudulent schemes.

Sincerely,
Rishabh Tiwari
