Hello Sir,

We have received this month Electricity bill with lot more than what we usually get, basically bill contains new charge called DEVELOPMENT Charges and SD amount, for which no one of the Electricity official is willing to explain why this charges incurred on my bill.

Here is an explanation that i found from internet w.r.t DEVELOPMENT charges in Electricity bill.

Development charges are collected to recover the cost of laying power lines and are usually fixed for each consumer based on the contracted loads. As of now, for every single kilo watt of energy requires payment of Rs.1,200.

Here I have neither seen or utilizing such an new lines laid at my place.

Here is USC no: 12176791, scno: 51752-00544 under Bodhan ERO, I am attaching this month bill for reference.

I am requesting for the removal of this charges and remove the lines on top of our land.
