I called Airtel customer care to disconnect my broadband connection in second week of Feb 2023.
They told me that it takes around 5–7 days for the connection to get inactive but I had to clear dues till the date I raised my complaint and the complaint reference number would be sent via sms or email.
I cleared all the dues which was nearly 706/-.rupees.
There was no call back to resolve my complaint but they deliberately started charging unscrupulously towards unused months of March,April and May summing to nearly 1300 ish and continuously call me from random numbers harassing me to pay those bills
Their customer care team are trained only to behave rudely and demand money from the customers.
When we apply for new connection, they call multiple times in same day, but they never respond for customer issues.
