I am OMSHARAN SINGH URF SHREE OM, son of Shee Ghasi Singh, residing at Village Rasulpur Pitanka urf Babanpura, Distt Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, PIN Code 246701. My son was an employee of SUNYOUNG ELECTRONICS PRIVATE LIMITED and unfortunately, he passed away on April 19, 2022. His total tenure with the company was 2 years and 11 months. We have received an amount of Rs 10,964 in EDLI from the Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).
However, as per the rule notification no. GSR 299 dated April 28, 2021, E-file no. 27058, there is a minimum value of Rs 2,50,000. I would like to know the total value that should be disbursed in my case, as per this rule.

I have recently received an EDLI amount of Rs 12,497 against my son’s services, which I am not able to understand because the minimum rule for EDLI of Rs. 2.50 lakh.
But my claim denied due to reason GAP period of services Date of Joining 03.08.2021 & previous company date of Exit 31 July 2021.
