Text of Complaint by Mohit:

I had ordered from Swiggy on 5th October 2020. The order was delayed. They first said that the delivery executive was caught by the police and now they are assigning a new executive and that will cause some delay. I told them I understand and requested them to deliver the order if it is still edible or otherwise cancel my order. They assured me saying that the delivered food would be fresh. When the order arrived it was completely cold, sticky and inedible. I told the swiggy guys that the food is inedible and please replace the food it is not edible. They said that all we will do is give you a coupon of 75 rs with validity of 90 days. 75Rs, is not even half of the value of the food, and the delivered food is in the condition that even a street dog would not eat it. In this case swiggy knew exactly what they are doing and still denied replacement/refund because they want to mint money from consumers like this. They deliberately deliver inedible food and charge money and later simply deny doing anything about it. As a customer why would I order ever with them again after this ordeal and what will I do with the coupon, which is not even 50% of the actual money. I never asked for money or refund from them, all I asked was for them to check the condition of the food and deliver an edible one. Is it too much to ask, if yes why are they allowed to run and harass customers like this ? Because of this whole ordeal, I did not get my breakfast and also my whole day is ruined following up and tolerating their antics.
