Text of Complaint by N.T.ARJUN:

On Fri Night On 2nd Of June 2023 Booked Our Flights To Come Back To Our Hometown Chennai From Delhi. Our Flight Timings Was 9:35pm And We Checked In Our Baggage 2hrs Prior Itself And Completed Our Security Clearances By 8pm Itself.
The Boarding Started At 8:50pm And We Went To The Food Court To Get Some Food And We Were Unable To Make The Payment Since My Card Was Blocked And It Got A Bit Late Because Of It. Because Of This We Reached The Gate Only At 9:15pm Which Was Just 20mins Prior To Departure Time. We Had received Calls From The Staff Regarding Boarding And Hence We Rushed To Gate But Since There Was An Escalator Which We Had To Come Down To Reach The Gate I Rushed Down But My Friend Since He Had Bag In His Hand He Couldn’t Rush Seeing This The Indigo Staff Started Shouting Saying Inspite Of Calling You Guys Are Not Rushing And Coming Slowly So We Cannot Allow You To Board The Flight.But I Apologised To The Staff Since We Were Late And She Then Scanned My Boarding Pass And Left Us In.
Now While We Were Crossing The Gate She Said You Guys Have Booked Under Student Category But You Dont Have Manners, First Learn Manners And Then You Can Be A Student. I Said Dont Speak Like This He Had A Bag In His Hand Only Because Of It He Couldn’t Rush Sorry . Another Staff Came Inside The Gate And Pulled My Boarding Passes Rudely And Unchecked My Passes I Asked Y U Did It But He Did Not Reply Hence I Wanted To Board The Flight And Went In But He Pulled My Out Along Witn CISF Staff Which Created Bruises In My Hand. And I Still Asked Y Are U Doing This And Then He Said U Behaved Rudely With Staff. I Said I Did Not Behave Rude But Just Was Apologising. He Still Denied And Started Shouting At Me Rudely And Told Me U Can Only Board The Next Flight.
After That He Took Me To A Customer Relationship Manager Who Said There Are No Seats In Chennai Flights On That Day And Seats Were Available Only On Connecting Flights Also At 4pm Next Evening. A Manager Came And I Asked Y Is This Happening To Me And He Said U Misbehaved With My Staff And I Told I Was Not The One But It’s Your Staff And Showed The Bruises Caused In My Hand. But He Said His Staff Didn’t Do It And It Was Only Caused Due To Cisf Staff And U Can Check It In Camera. I Said Ok We’ll Check The Camera But He Didn’t Check Me But Rather Asked Me To Stay Silent And Book My Next Flight Or Else U Are Going To Go Home At All. Later They Asked Us For Near By Destination Other Than Chennai And It Was Bangalore. They Made Us To Agree To Book Bangalore Flights Via Pune And Asked Us To Pay Extra 2500rs Per Person For The Rescheduling Charges. In This Mean Time The Staff Who Caused Bruises And Behaved Rudely Went Out. The Manager Also Didn’t Turn Up To Show Footage.
We Had To Book Bangalore Flights And Travel To Chennai By Bus.
Due To All This Mishap We Reached Chennai Only On 3rd Night 10pm .
I Personally Was Really Hurted When He Said That I Misbehaved With Lady Staff. I Also Think This Happened To Us Just Because We Were Students Who Were Studying Far Away From Hometown. How can he keep his hands on me and create bruises on me. I Really Feel Sad About This Incident And Am Mentally Broken And Henceforth Even Afraid To Travel By Flight.
