Dell Laptop (Business series) 3480 bought in end of Jan-2018, has crashed multiple times in less than 1 year despite replacing HDD, with all the critical data going for a toss.
Dell India is acting in highly irresponsible manner, washing off their hands citing some policy of theirs, when asked to recover data from HDD in the laptop which crashed again this week.
Regarding SR# 985883755 we see that our Carry-in Service center has tried to help with the Data back-up when the system was left for service. However, as our technical support have advised we wouldn’t be able to help with the data back on the system but you can check with a local technician if they would be able to retrieve the data/help with data back-up. Please let us know the current status of the system along with your contact number and email id so that we can take the feasible action needed. Regards ^AM
Thank you for these details. We can understand your situation but as advised previously we wouldn’t be able to assist you with data back/recover as per the policy. You would need to check with any local technician or your office IT team for data back-up/recover. If the system has any technical issue on the system we would be able to assist you with the same. ^AM
