Hello Sir,

Sorry to correct you in this way but this is the only option left by the flipkart team to get a solution and some support for our problem.

The delivery boy was in a great hurry and did not properly match the items. Two items were missing: garlic and Milk Food Ghee. In an attempt to balance the number of items physically and in his records, he included two extra packets of salted cashew nuts. During this time, my mother was present, but due to her lack of education, she couldn’t comprehend the situation.

When he called me to say he would deliver the order shortly, I informed him that I would be home until a certain time and requested an earlier delivery. Unfortunately, he delivered the items after I had left. I tried calling him repeatedly after leaving home, either to arrange for the next day’s delivery in my presence or to conduct a proper item count with my mother, who could understand the situation. However, he didn’t answer my calls.

He only called me back after delivering the order and claimed he had completed the delivery using an OTP. I questioned him about this, and he abruptly ended the call. Although I received the OTP, he hadn’t called me to obtain it. This raised concerns about how he managed to deliver the items without it.

Upon reaching home, I inspected the items and discovered that both Milkmaid Ghee and garlic were missing. I immediately contacted customer care to report the missing items and the entire incident. They registered my complaint and assured me of a refund. However, the next day, I received an email stating that both the seller and the delivery partner confirmed the delivery of all items. Consequently, they considered the matter closed, leaving me frustrated that they seemed to trust their seller and delivery partner over my account of the situation.

It appears that the actual issue is not just the two missing items, but rather the trust that customers place in Flipkart. We’ve been engaging in online shopping with your platform for years because of this trust. I’ve been regularly in touch with customer care, pleading my case, but it feels like my plea is falling on deaf ears. After keeping me on hold for extended periods, the response has consistently been, “Sorry, we can’t assist you.”

The concern here isn’t solely about the two missing items; it’s about the trust that we, as customers, have in Flipkart. Please take this matter seriously and address it promptly. I implore you to question the delivery boy about how he managed to deliver the order without the OTP, especially since he also failed to provide a receipt. My mother, being elderly, deserved better support during this ordeal, but his behavior was disgraceful.
