I landed on 7th February to Delhi Airport and spent quite a while enquiring about different recharge options at the Airtel Counter. I had detailed discussions and a male staff offered me 56 days at 599. When I said this was too long and too pricey, he eventually, somewhat reluctantly offered me a recharge for 30 days, at 499. I asked several times why it was so expensive and if there was a cheaper package. He said this was the cheapest option and I paid 500. I usually always charge at Cochin airport, and always, without fail receive Airtel text messages. So I questioned this aspect and the fact that I was only getting “E”. He said when I leave airport, I will get 3G, and will get 4G only when I change my sim card by visiting an Airtel office, which I did the same day. Upon arrival I asked Cochin Airtel why options were limited now and then coincidentally found out that an official desk of Airtel has cheated me. I ask you to demand that Airtel investigate the staff and also arrange a refund for me.
