I have placed an Order for Dell Inspiron 3511 Laptop on 23rd July 2022 and also made the Online Payment. I was committed the Delivery by Next Date which was 24th July 2022 (Sunday).
Upon tracking, it showed that the Package is Out for Delivery from 6:38pm but eventually, the delivery was not made on or before 9pm. on 25th July 2022, Upon checking the Tracking Updates, i was shocked to see that Amazon Delivery Agent made a FALSE UPDATE of DELIVERY ATTEMPTED which was the first LIE. In response, i logged a Complaint with Amazon Customer Service for False Update. In response to my complaint, I got a call & Mail from Amazon Delivery Service team, again promising that the Delivery will be done by End of Day of 25th July 2022 but unfortunately, Amazon once again failed with their promise.
So as a strong case for Duping the Customer with the Wrong Updates, i took up the case with Amazon India Social Media team on Twitter but to my pity, Amazon India Social Media Team has Longer Resolution time of 3 Days to resolve this matter.
On 27th July, the Tracking Update on my order showed that the Package was OUT FOR DELIVERY since morning 9:13AM but once again Amazon Delivery Agent are Smart enough to put the blame on the Customer by updating another FALSE UPDATE OF DELIVERY ATTEMPT at 10.40PM. I have tried connecting to the Amazon Delivery Agent with the received Phone Number along with a PIN to response was the “Number Was Busy”. Till date there is no Update from Amazon Escalation team on my continuous calls and complaints.
I hope the Concerned authority looks into this Issue and help me in a getting a resolution for this Mental Agony.
