On 7th dec 2021, I raised a service request with Airtel for shifting my broadband services from my old to the new house, which are less than 6 km apart. They say the SLA is 24 hours, but even by 3:30 PM on 9th dec 2021, the shifting is not done.
On 8th dec 2021 around 11:00 am, a technician called but he never showed up at my place. I have been following up with the customer care ever since, but they have just been giving false assurances, promising a callback within 2 or 4 hours every time, but i never got any callback from them.
I want to be compensated for the time wasted + compensation for all the mental harassment caused + legal expenses if i engage a lawyer.
Kindly guide how to proceed about this. Do i need to get a lawyer, or consumer complaints can be resolved even without a lawyer?
