Text of Complaint by Suparno Nandi:

I had purchased an Eureka Forbes water purifier through Flipkart on 26th Oct,2020 under an exchange offer . [Order ID : OD120050995893469000]

Purchased new product was delivered by Flipkart on 3rd November,2020  (within the committed deadline for delivery), along with collection of the old purifier from my parents’ residence on the same day.

Subsequently Flipkart had committed installation of the delivered purifier by EF technician by 6th November,2020. However, the product is yet to be installed, in spite of my multiple requests made on call and via app to both Eureka Forbes and Flipkart since delivery.

In my most recent call with Eureka Forbes helpline, I was informed my registered complaint number to be 1112309404. I currently do not have a complaint ID from Flipkart, even though their executives have called me multiple times to enquire about the status of installation, thus indicating my complaint to be registered with them as well.

The end user of this water purifier would be my parents, who are both well above 70. The delay in installation has not only caused them to suffer much inconvenience in arranging for drinking water, but also exposing them to the risk of the Coronavirus as they are compelled to visit grocery stores to purchase bottled water.

I would hence like to register a complaint against Eureka Forbes and Flipkart for their lackadaisical response, and request for installation of the purifier by not later than 10th November, 2020.
