Dear Ma’am / Sir,
I made an application for a new connection with Airtel Xtreme. On confirmation by Airtel Sales Manager about installation the same day, I made payment on 3rd July – Saturday at 9.30 AM. However, nothing happened. After much follow up with customer care, a technical person came Saturday evening but left giving reason that equipment and fibre is not available. I also received some calls stating same day whether I have complaints about them in customer care. Probably because of this technical person left with assurance that he will come the next day by 9.30 AM. However, when I spoke to him on Sunday, he told me that instructions to him are not to install the fire and delay it by one more day. I guess to teach a lesson to the customer so that he will not approach customer care, they have done this. Thereafter, I again spoke to customer care senior supervisor and he said he will not be able to help with the installation by Sunday evening. Accordingly, I asked him to raise a request for 100% refund as I am no longer interested in your services because of delay. He said, people will call in 2 yours yesterday. But no one called for refund or installation on sunday – 4th July. I have also written to nodal officer Rajasthan on Monday 5ht July who assured resolution within 2 days. Even after 2 days, nothing has happened. There is clear deficiency in services on account of delay and gross level of over-commitment and unprofessionalism.
I have asked Airtel to Rs.2829/- within 2 days. However, there is no response.
