Text of Complaint by Dr. Usha Devi:

We have booked 3 tickets for a show of ” Adipurush” movie through Paytm on -03-07-2023., by paying 900 rs for 3 recliner seats. The show is on 04-07-2023, at 2.50 pm. We reached the theater with 2 infant kids from a long distance by 2.30 pm. We were made to wait in the lounge till 3.20 pm and then they told us that the show is canceled. I argued with the Theatre staff and we won’t move until the show is done as we have from a long distance and no intimation earlier that the show is canceled. If we were told earlier, we would have gone to another movie. At last, they started the movie at 3.30 after a long fight and charged 30 rs each for the 3D glasses and 880 rs in cash for tickets agin telling that the Paytm amount will be refunded back. But the AC was not on..We went and requested them 6 times to on the ac as the kids were suffering and profusely sweating. But they didn’t care at all. At last, we waited for 3 hours and came back leaving the movie unwatched, snacks left there, and crying kids. We fought with them and they told us to complain wherever we want. We want to lodge a complaint by sparing our valuable busy time only to bring to your notice the rude behavior of the Theatre staff with 3 old ladies and 2 kids. If this is the case with educated ones, we can’t imagine what would be their behavior with a common layman. We spent a lot of money to take OLA Cab from a long distance, spent a good amount of time, spent for tickets, and finally bought Horrible Experience. All the fights and my requests made were recorded on the CC Tv there. Please consider this as a DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE and kindly penalize them with a strong warning and Penalty for my Strain, Time and Mental & Physical Agony so as to keep the consumer rights upright. Today we got our money back from Paytm. But no regret message.
