Dear Sir/Madam,
I had booked 3 bus tickets from Manali to Chandigarh on 16th June 2023 for travelling on 17th June 2023. Ticket No CLT974698, Order ID 21315587872. As per the information on Paytm app and messages, the Bus was VOLVO SEMI SLEEPER category and operated by CITY LAND TRAVELS. Since we were travelling at night, and can have better rest in SEMI SLEEPER buses, I had booked these tickets.
However, on the day of journey, we were astonished to see that the bus was of SEATER category. It is very difficult to sleep in Seater buses compared to VOLVO SEMI SLEEPER buses. As such, the whole journey became tiresome and we could not get necessary rest.
We could not cancel the tickets, as we had to reach next destination in scheduled time for our onward journey. Bus Number was UP-87-T-2096
After reaching, we raised a compliant with Paytm and asked for compensation for wrong information and mental harrasement. They informed that they will not do anything and we should raise the complaint with the CITY LAND TRAVELS -Bus OPERATOR, who do not agree to listen and are very rude. CITY LAND TRAVELS disconnect the phone calls, whenever matter is being discussed.
Also considering that Paytm is a reputed Organisation, we will get the same services which are being shown in the app. it is duty of Paytm to see that information uploaded on their site is correct, if not they should ask the Bus operator to rectify and also compensate the passengers.
Due to this , there was a deficiency in services by Paytm and wrong information provided by Paytm as well as the BUS OPERATOR. FURTHER THEY are not entertaining the claim.
My Claim is that they should refund the ticket amount of Rs 3527 and pay Rs 1,00,000 ( one lakh only) towards mental harassments due to wrong information provided on the Paytm app.
