I am writing to file a formal complaint against Oakcraft (Seller) and Flipkart, regarding a deeply unsatisfactory experience I have encountered during a recent purchase.

On August 2nd, 2023, I purchased an Oakcraft Stallion Cushioned Leatherette Upholstery Airlift Adjustable Swivel Solid Wood Bar Stool in the Finish Color – White with the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) option from Flipkart, with order number OD328781643196845100. My expectation was to receive a high-quality product and a satisfactory shopping experience; however, my experience has been far from what I anticipated.

Upon receiving the product, I discovered that the bar stool had prominent blue stains on its surface, clearly indicating a lack of quality control and care in the packaging and shipping process. As a conscientious consumer, I promptly initiated a return request with the intention of receiving a replacement or a refund for my purchase.

From this point onwards, my ordeal has escalated into an ongoing nightmare of frustration and unfulfilled promises. Despite multiple interactions with Flipkart’s customer support, my issue remains unresolved:

Flipkart’s customer support promised a technician visit to assess the issue on August 16th. However, no technician turned up, leaving me concerned about the lack of accountability and professionalism.

Subsequently, a second technician visit was scheduled for August 21st. Yet again, nobody appeared, further eroding my confidence in the process.

A third technician visit was assured for August 25th, with an escalated priority. This date also passed without any technician visiting my premises, creating a cycle of unmet expectations and growing frustration.

After enduring weeks of relentless attempts and countless phone calls, a technician finally visited on August 28th, only to confirm that the product was indeed defective and unusable. Unfortunately, even this positive development was quickly overshadowed by the fact that my return request was inexplicably rejected, and another evaluation was scheduled for August 30th.

As of my last communication with Flipkart, the technician visit on August 30th did not transpire as promised, leaving me in an unresolved state with a significant amount of money tied up and a defective product on my hands.

I would like to bring to your attention that my interactions with Flipkart’s customer service have been marked by their inefficiency, lack of transparency, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. As a result, I feel compelled to escalate this matter to the consumer court to seek a resolution to my predicament.

I kindly request your intervention in this matter to ensure that justice is served. My objective is to have my hard-earned money refunded promptly and to highlight the glaring issues in Flipkart’s customer service procedures, which have caused me substantial inconvenience, frustration, and mental anguish.

Enclosed with this letter, you will find copies of all relevant documentation, including order details, communication with customer support, and photographs of the defective product.

I hope that the consumer court can assist in ensuring that my rights as a consumer are upheld and that proper action is taken against [Seller’s Name] and Flipkart for their apparent negligence and lack of commitment.
